Welcome to Sprout Family Day Care
At Sprout Family Day Care, I provide high-quality, boutique early childhood education and care in a warm and nurturing home environment. I cater primarily for children aged 18 months to 5 years, offering a consistent, safe, and enriching place where they can grow and thrive.
With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and over 15 years of experience, I bring a depth of knowledge and a genuine passion for early learning. I am committed to ongoing professional development, continually updating my practice with the latest evidence-based approaches in early childhood education.
My philosophy is grounded in play-based learning, connection to nature, emotional wellbeing, and nurturing children as confident, capable individuals. I create an unhurried environment where children are given the time and freedom to make choices, follow their interests, and feel empowered in their learning.

I take pride in providing a calm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where families can feel confident that your child is valued, supported, and receiving the highest quality care.
The Environment
Every Family Day Care setting is unique, and at Sprout, I’ve created a welcoming and enriching environment designed to nurture curiosity and growth. Our spacious indoor area is thoughtfully arranged with a variety of educational activities and hands-on experiences, encouraging children to explore, create, and learn through play.
Children are free to engage in both self-chosen and guided activities that reflect their interests and developmental needs.
The indoor space flows seamlessly into a beautiful, natural outdoor area that invites nature exploration and supports sensory and gross motor development.
It’s a place where they can develop their independence, build confidence, and truly feel a sense of belonging.
Education & Program
At Sprout Family Day Care, I am committed to providing high-quality education and care that fosters the development and wellbeing of each child. My program is tailored to meet the individual needs, interests, and developmental stages of the children in my care, supporting their growth in a nurturing, home-like environment.
My program is designed in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 (EYLF), ensuring a holistic approach to early childhood education. I offer play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration, imagination, and discovery. Activities and routines are planned based on children's individual needs and interests, ensuring that they are engaged and challenged in developmentally appropriate ways.
The implementation of the program is documented using Storypark, a secure, online platform accessible only to enrolled families. Through Storypark, I share updates, photos, and observations of each child’s progress. Families can access information about their child’s learning journey, the current program, and any planned activities or outings. Additionally, families are welcome to request details about their child’s participation in the program at any time.
Outings & The Community
Excursions and outings are a wonderful way to enrich children’s learning and help them connect with the world around them. At Sprout, great care goes into planning engaging and meaningful outings so children can enjoy the best possible experiences while exploring their community.
Family Day Care is uniquely suited to supporting young children’s participation in the community. With smaller group sizes, we’re able to venture beyond the regular care environment and engage in authentic, hands-on experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and social awareness.
We regularly explore the local community through a variety of outings. These may include attending a community playgroup, visiting local parks, or simply enjoying a walk in the sunshine. These experiences support children’s physical, emotional, and social development while fostering a strong sense of belonging within their wider world.
Fees & CCS
Sprout Family Day Care is proudly registered with Foundations Family Day Care, an approved service provider. This means eligible families may be able to access the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to help reduce out-of-pocket childcare expenses.
All enrolled families enter into a financial agreement with Foundations Family Day Care, who manage CCS entitlements and family payments on behalf of the educator.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a government initiative that supports families by covering a portion of the cost of approved childcare. The amount of subsidy you receive depends on factors such as your family income, activity level, and the type of care used.
To estimate your potential subsidy and what you may need to pay, you can use the Child Care Subsidy Calculator.
Enrolment Information
Sprout Family Day Care currently operates on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Families are welcome to drop off and pick up their child/ren at any time during these hours on their enrolled days. Consistent routines are encouraged to help children feel settled and secure, but I understand the need for flexibility and aim to support individual family needs.
If you're interested in care, simply click the Join Waitlist button to fill out the Request for Care form. Once I receive your submission, I’ll be in touch to discuss availability and next steps.
Please note that I give preference to children aged 18 months to 5 years, as my environment and daily outings are best suited to this age group. I may consider children from 10 months old if there is availability and the group dynamics are a good fit. At this time, I’m not offering care for children under 10 months of age.
If your child is younger, I still warmly encourage you to join the waitlist. Availability can take time to come up, and things do change—I'd love to stay in touch for when the right spot becomes available.
